[NEohioPAL] Some unfortunate news regarding the Neohiopal list...

*Dear Subscribers,*

*Yahoo has made some changes to their mail server policies, and the short
story is Yahoo and Y-hosted domains (sbcglobal.net
<http://sbcglobal.net>, att.net <http://att.net>, ymail.com
<http://ymail.com>, prodigy.net <http://prodigy.net>, ameritech.net
<http://ameritech.net>, bellsouth.net <http://bellsouth.net>) cannot post
to the list any more. BUT, they can still receive. *

* The slightly longer story is that Yahoo changed their server policies so
that it makes it harder to send anonymous spam, but breaks almost all
mailing list software on the internet. They knew this would happen and they
have no real alternative suggestion. They did this without any real
warning (a few days) and they aren’t going back. If Yahoo email addresses
are allowed to post, it will cause other email addresses on the list to be
disabled and/or unsubscribed, and that can’t be allowed to happen. If you
use one of the domains above and want to post, you should get another email
account with a free service such as Gmail, Hotmail/Outlook, iCloud or AOL,
subscribe and post with that. If you want even more gory technical
details you can google “yahoo dmarc."*
