Magnificat High School accepting stage director resumes
The Performing Arts Department at Magnificat High School is now accepting resumes for stage directors for the 2014-2015 school year.  Our mainstage productions each year include a full-length musical in the Fall and a non-musical production in the Spring.  For 2014-2015, Magnificat will be producing the musical The Pajama Game in November 2014 and a yet to be determined play in April 2015.    Candidates to direct either or both productions should possess at minimum a bachelor's degree in Theatre plus two years of professional experience.  High school or college directing experience is highly desirable. Additionally, candidates should possess a strong belief in and respect for the mission of Magnificat and display the ability to support and implement the school's mission and philosophy, along with the ability to maintain respectful relationships with students, faculty, administration, staff and volunteers.
Magnificat, Ohio's largest all-girl Catholic college-preparatory high school, founded and sponsored by the Sisters of the Humility of Mary, is located in a near western suburb of Cleveland.
Magnificat has a state-of-the-art 1,000-seat theatre.  The director of the Fall musical will be assisted by a professional choreographer and musical director.
