company has issued a call to area teens ages 14 to 18 interested in the art
of Improvisational Performance to attend one of two free workshops being
held at Stark State College on June 12th and Akron General Health and
Wellness Center June 19th. Teens will have the opportunity to learn new
skills as well as have their talent featured online. Sessions are designed
to include skills training and a video performance of student work. The
workshops are open to teens residing in NE Ohio. Interested parties should

registration details.

The workshops will be taught by Andrew Knode. Andrew has been performing
and teaching improv professionally for over 10 years. He has been a member

“Scared Scriptless” based out of Canton, Ohio. He formally studied Improv
with Second City Hollywood, CA.

‘Pardon My Improv’ seeks to collaborate with and inspire improvisational
performance artists through new media. Chad Kapper, President of StoneKap,
is excited to bring this opportunity to the local community.

Kapper’s previous project in this type of venture is Flite Test; a radio
control aircraft show that successfully grew to more than 160,000 YouTube
subscribers. It now has six employees and operates out of 3,500 sq/ft
facility in North Canton.

“StoneKap is looking forward to providing this opportunity to area teens
who can collaborate with a global virtual community through StoneKap’s
existing new media channels,” said Kapper. “We want to create more,
artistic collaboration globally by starting in our hometowns.” He also
noted that the exposure provides a perfect platform for aspiring artists to
be discovered without having to invest any money of their own. The company
is actively seeking educational partnership opportunities that will help in
promoting the arts. Interested entities should contact Chad Kapper at:
