The 48HFP returns to Cleveland from July 11 - 13. Filmmakers will have just
two days to write, produce, and edit their short films before they are
screened to a jury of film professionals and sold out audiences on July 22
& 23 at Tower City Cinemas. We'll have a special Best Of screening at the
Capitol Theatre followed by our Awards Presentation & Wrap Party at the
Cleveland Marriott, all happening on August 7th. Teams will compete for a
variety of awards, and one film will go on to represent the city at
Filmapalooza 2015 in Hollywood, with a shot at more prizes and a chance to
screen at Cannes. Also the top five teams will compete in a special film
invitational sponsored by New Amsterdam Vodka--one of those five teams will
win $1000, and have a chance at winning the $5000 grand prize.


The 48HFP is open to filmmakers at any level, from newbie to seasoned pro.
Remember, in 48 hours ANYTHING and EVERYTHING can happen!

 Filmmakers unite this Thursday June 19th for a film industry networking
event at XYZ Tavern <http://www.xyzthetavern.com>. This is the perfect
chance to round out your teams for this year's 48HFP, find actors or crew,
and network with local film professionals. The Cleveland 48HFP producers
will be available to answer any questions about this year's competition.
XYZ Tavern will have some great happy hour specials for the event, so be
sure to drop by! XYZ Tavern is located in Gordon Square next to Cleveland
Public Theatre.
