The KENT BLOSSOM ART - VISITING ARTIST LECTURE SERIES presents:

DAVID ALBAN & MATTHEW COURTNEY, CERAMIC ARTISTS
Monday, June 23, at 6 p.m.
Kent State University - Art Building, room 202
400 Janik Dr., Kent, Ohio

DAVID ALBAN's exhibitions and residencies have taken him from the Clay Art Center in Port Chester, N.Y., to the National Museum in Wrocław, Poland. His work part of the permanent collections of the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, Ohio, and the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague, Czech Republic, among others.

MATTHEW N. COURTNEY is an instructor at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He has also taught at the Cleveland Institute of Art and Drexel University in Philadelphia. Courtney has also received an Ohio Arts Council fellowship and a Hunt Art Futures Program teaching fellowship, administered by the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

All Kent Blossom Art lectures are free and open to the public.
