Dobama Theatre announces auditions for the following roles in its 2014-15
Season:

 

The role of Andrew (M, 26-35) in BECKY SHAW: Caucasian, Good looking
empathetic, kind, guy-next-door type. Dedicated husband and friend.  

This is a non-AEA contract that pays a $500 stipend.

Production dates: March 6, 2015 to March 29, 2015. Preview date: March 5,
2014

Rehearsals begin: February 9, 2015

 

 

The role of Chester Maunton Saunders (M, 21-35) in A CIVIL WAR CHRISTMAS:
The actor will play multiple roles including Saunders, a college educated
white northerner who is passionate, and naïve, about fighting for the Union
and against slavery. Other roles played by this actor include a confederate
conspirator and a Jewish soldier wounded in battle.

Actors who play guitar (or perhaps another Civil War-era instrument like
harmonica, banjo, mandolin, violin) are preferred. 

This is a non-AEA contract that pays a $500 stipend.

Production dates: Dec. 5, 2014 to Jan. 4, 2015. Preview date: Dec. 4, 2014

Rehearsals begin: Nov. 8, 2014

 

 

The role of Kiril Ivankin (M, 35) in SUPERIOR DONUTS: Russian mafia
“soldier”. Big (over 6’2”), muscle-bound. Intimidating, Dolph Lundgren type.
Limited acting experience ok. 

This is a non-AEA contract that pays a $500 stipend.

Production dates: April 24, 2015 to May 24, 2015. Preview date: April 23,
2015

Rehearsals begin: Saturday, March 30, 2014

 

The UNDERSTUDY for the role of Sterling (M, 49) in SLOWGIRL: Quiet,
introspective former white collar executive who now lives in Costa Rican
jungle and who mentors his visiting teenage niece. 

This is a non-AEA contract that pays a $500 stipend.

Production dates: Jan. 23, 2015 to Feb. 15, 2015. Preview date: Jan. 22,
2015

Rehearsals begin Dec. 29, 2014
