[NEohioPAL] Auditions for Fantasticks and Harpist Needed

The Geauga Lyric Theater Guild will hold open auditions for the hit
musical, *The Fantasticks,* by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt.

Auditions will be held at the Log Cabin on the Square  on East Park Street,
Chardon, Oh. near the Theater....

 *Monday and Tuesday, July 7th and 8th at 7pm.*

* The cast requirements are as follows:*

*  Luisa: 16-17 (approx.) with good vocal range *
*(could be played by older actress if she looks young enough)*

*  Matt: "The boy next door" type - good vocal range*

* El Gallo/Narrator: Handsome hero type with knowledge of the world*

* Hucklebee (Matt's father): Good comedic character type*

* Bellomy - (Luisa's father): Good comedic character type*

* Henry (The old actor): Good character type -*
* the character is 60s - 80s but can be played by younger actor - British
accent*

*  Mortimer (the Indian): Good comedic actor - possible accent*

 *The Mute: no lines, but good with pantomime. No specific age or gender*


* All roles (except The Mute) must be able to sing   but Henry and Mortimer
minimally.*


 Music rehearsals will begin in late July
with full rehearsals in early August.

Show dates are: Sept 12,-14, 19-21, and 26-28.
