[NEohioPAL] Nutcracker Auditions (Dancers & Tumblers)

Tchaikovsky’s most famous ballet comes to the Olmsted Performing Arts stage
this December. This beloved holiday tradition gives dancers the opportunity
to perform alongside professional dancers and gain valuable technical
training and experience. Available roles include children's parts, corps de
ballet, soloist and principle roles. Ladies should wear pointe shoes if
training en pointe.

*Audition Information*

August 16th

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill out audition form and
receive number.

11:15-11:45am - Tumbling Audition - Please prepare 3 tumbling passes

12:00-1:00pm – ages 6-11years (some dancers may be asked to stay for the
next age group)

1:15-3:15pm – ages 12 and up

3:45pm Call backs

Please come to audition warmed up. Studio 1 will be available for warm up
starting at 11:00am.

*Audition Prep Class information*

August 13th: Ages 6-11 is 5:30-7:00 and ages 12 & up will be 7:30-9:00.

Cost is $30 per child

Audition prep class will include ballet technique, pantomime skills,
characterization and a chance to learn parts of actual choreography taught

Monday 8:15-9:15pm
Thursday 7:00-9:00pm
Saturday 10am-4:00pm

*You may not be called to every rehearsal time listed. A detailed schedule
will be sent to the cast each week.
