THE GIVER
Adapted by Eric Coble from the book by Lois Lowry

Directed by Fred Gloor

AUDITION DATES / TIMES
July 22nd, 23rd, 24th / 6:30pm-9:00pm

Auditions will be held in 30 minute blocks. Auditionees should be prepared to read from the script, and provide a non-returnable headshot, resume and list of conflicts for the next two months, if available. To schedule an audition, please call (440) 949-5200 ext 221.

Rehearsals begin Sunday, August 3rd.

ROLES
Father - good natured, male, 30-45
Mother - good natured, female, 30-45
Lily - Jonas' sister, female, 7-10
Jonas - a boy about to grow older, male, 11
Asher - Jonas' friend, male,10-15
Fiona - Jonas' friend, female, 10-15
The Chief Elder - the master of ceremony, female, 40+
The Giver - an old man about to change, male, 50+
Rosemary - a young girl from the past, female, 10-15

Additional children and adults to serve as the various voices and community members.

PERFORMANCES
September 19th-28th
Fri & Sat at 6:30pm
Sat & Sun at 3pm
