On August 3, 2014, at 2:30 pm at Main Stage A in St. Helena Park, Canal Fulton, Ohio, the Canal Fulton Players will be performing as part of the Canal Fulton Bicentennial Celebration the original play, The Strange Case of William McKinley's Missing Shirt, by David Van Gaasbeek. The story is about a visit by President McKinley to Canal Fulton, Ohio, where he actually loses a shirt. The ensuing events clearly change the course of history as four people search for the ever elusive shirt. Starring Ray Olivera as Herbert Johannsen, Josh Rowe as Juniper Van Slyke, Michal Donahue as Inga, the Danish Chambermaid, and David Van Gaasbeek as Senator Mark Hanna, the play is set in Canal Fulton's now defunct hotel, The Easly Hotel. As part of the Bicentennial, this play brings back the days of 1898 when the United States was emerging as a world power and little known politician was rising to become one of the greatest forces in American History. Come join us at Stage A, near the St. Helena II to get the total scoop on American History and how it was affected by one missing shirt.
