Porthouse Theatre presents a staged reading
of new musical

Minnie Quay

 Performances will take place on
Thurs. and Fri., Aug. 7 and 8 at 3 p.m.

Based on a popular American folk legend, this haunting new musical tells of Minnie Quay, a young girl in a Michigan port town who falls in love with a
sailor against her parents' wishes. With fate and circumstance tearing them apart, Minnie is forced to decide what ultimate price she is willing to pay for love.

The special staged reading of Minnie Quay features members of Porthouse Theatre's 2014 Young Professional Company
as well as several Kent State School of Theatre and Dance alumni and current students.

Our Concession Stand will be open before, during intermission, and after the performance.
