Yeah, it’s totally like the Adam Sandler-Drew Barrymore film. But not. PSYCH! Mercury Summer Stock takes you back to 1985 when hair was big, greed was good collars were up, and a wedding singer might just be the coolest guy in the room.

 

The Wedding Singer, with music by Matthew Sklar, and based on the book by Chad Beguelin and Tim Herlihy, plays Notre Dame College’s Regina Hall now through August16, 2014. As part of Mercury Summer Stock’s MERCURY AT THE MOVIES season, The Wedding Singer takes the popular Adam Sandler comedy and mixes it with an original pop score inspired by the 1980’s giants of music, including Bryan Adams, Duran Duran, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Boy George and Spandau Ballet.

 

MSS Artistic Director Pierre-Jacques Brault directs and choreographs a cast of 23 (See LeBron, it's a sign) big-haired, big-mouthed comedians in this laugh-out-loud riot. The wedding Singer plays in Notre Dame College’s Regina Hall through August 16.
