Frankenstein: The Rock
Opera
Written and directed by Tom Todd 
 
Presently auditioning for Frankenstein: The Rock Opera production at Geauga Lyric Theater on November 7
and 8. 

Stipend included.

We are looking for:
Pop and rock style singers (not
traditional opera style) ages approximately 16 and older, male and female. 
The lead characters:
Braston: (The villain) Very animated, charismatic male with
higher tenor voice. Think a (younger) Mick Jagger.
Doctor Frankenstein: Serious, intelligent, dignified, medium male vocal
range.
Mary: (The pretty-but-plain, girl-next-door) requires a
beautiful, soaring vocal style.
Pimperton: (The small-town-mayor) Short, roundish, even
comical, with medium to low male vocal range.
àThe Monster: A fearful, towering, strong 6’5” – 7’ male (no
singing required).
Also: Tuff Guys Trio: Rugged,
athletic males. Rowdy singers.
Girl Trio: Good part singers.
Justin and Frank: The decent
citizens who try to keep things right. Medium male vocal range.
Other villagers: average
vocal range for chorus parts.
All parts (except the Doctor) require physical ability to run, fight or fall in action scenes.
All actors (except the
Monster) preferably should be not too tall, to accentuate the Monster’s size.

sheet music and lyrics to use for auditions. Auditions will be Aug 26, 27 at
Chardon Library, or by appointment.
This is
a rocking, exciting, fast paced, vocally powerful show that should be a blast
to perform! This is the premier; the first time this show has ever been
performed in public. Be a part of history!
