The Theater @ Garden Valley Neighborhood House doing workshop performances for an original work MEN DON'T CRY written by local playwrights Stephen D. Hood and Susan E. Hughes, and holding auditions for the performances on Fri., August 22 from 7-9pm and again on Sat., August 23 from 1-5pm. Call-backs will follow the Saturday auditions. The theater is located at 7100 Kinsman Ave. (Parking available in the rear)
 
   SEEKING: FIVE MEN OF COLOR (1 of Hispanic ethnicity)
 
Please bring headshot and resume and dress for light movement.  Cold readings will from the script.  Below is a character description.
 
Man 1:    (25-35) Strong, street-savvy guy.  A smooth-talker with an urban flair.
 
Man 2:    (18-25) Young, well-educated with a certain innocence to the streets 
                and life. ( May be older but must look the age range)
 
Man3:    (30-40) Family-orientated; stable with a moral sensibility.
 
Man 4:    (30-40) Clean cut, "straight" outer appearance but  filled with
                inner turmoil and secrets.
 
Man 5:    (35-45) Introspective and reflective; has vast life experience, the 
                voice of reason.
