We're looking to fill five roles in Tarot Cabaret:

·         The Diva / High Priestess - A powerful woman with a luscious
voice, she also plays the Devil and Death.

·         The MC / Magician - Her husband, and the impresario of Tarot
Cabaret. A man of questionable morals.

·         The Fool - A young man returning from war. He's a lost soul in
need of redemption.

·         The Lover - A young woman in the cabaret. She's trying to
overcome her past and find a higher purpose.

·         The Medium - A tarot reader in the cabaret. She's the spirit
guide who helps the Fool find his way through theatrical purgatory.



Rehearsals will begin the week of August 24 and occur three times a week
through September.

Starting in October, there will be five rehearsals a week until opening
night.

The play is set to open Thursday, October 30 at a location in Kent to be
announced. It will run for four week-ends.


EXPERIENCE:  No experience necessary but previous theater experience is
helpful.

PREPARATION:  Please prepare a brief Song. Prepare a brief Monologue. Be
ready to Read from the Script.

DESCRIPTION:  It starts simply enough - A guy walks into a bar...but in
Tarot Cabaret, all choices have consequences.

Death, the Devil, the High Priestess and other characters from the ancient
tarot deck vie for the soul of an unlucky Fool caught in theatrical
purgatory.

Redemption, torture, and true love shape the Fool's journey to judgment -
told through snappy musical numbers.

Tarot Cabaret slices through questions of Fate to reveal the heart of
Destiny.
