“Who’s on First?”, a comedy by Jack Sharkey, will open Friday, Aug. 22 at 8 p.m. as the debut production at Arlene’s Broadway on Buffalo (ABOB), a new theater at 236 Buffalo Street in Conneaut, Ohio. The zany comedy runs Aug. 22-24, 29 and 30 with all curtains at 8 p.m. Tickets are available at the door and are priced at $8 for adults and $5.50 for students and seniors; intermission concessions will be available.

“Who’s on First?” is directed by Mark Pendleton of Ashtabula and has an ensemble cast which includes Dennis Dixon, Charlene Smith, Sarah Panyard Cantrell, Rick Rasbitsky, Miranda Legend and Courtney Smith. It features a dinner party which goes horribly awry, with the guests forced to relive the event over and over in increasingly bizarre and hilarious ways.

The theater is housed in a converted turn-of-the-century church in the Conneaut downtown area and features beautiful antique ambiance, pew seating, natural woodwork and dozens of stained glass windows juxtaposed against fully modern technical capabilities. The theater seats approximately 150 people on the floor, and also has balcony seating for an additional 60-70. Parking is on-street and in nearby lots.
