*Seeking Non-Equity Adult *actors of all ethnicities for “Kids For Lunch:
The Story of Hansel & Gretel Continued”.
This wildly adventurous and comical continuation of the classic fable will
debut at the Civic Theatre on October 19th. The story picks up 40 years
where it left off, with Hansel and Gretel reencountering the witch.
Rehearsals will be held at the Firestone Park Community Center, Monday
through Thursday evenings, beginning September 2nd.
Character breakdown:

Gretel: (Early-50's)A pleasantly whimsical school teacher with big hair and
even bigger glasses. Though slightly offbeat, she remains ever loveable.

Hansel: (Early-50's) A seemingly gruff, but cool janitor. A John Wayne
type. Also the narrator.

Auditions will be held on August 25th and 27th from 5pm-6 30pm at the
Firestone Park Community Center. For audition, please prepare a monologue
