CASTING REQUIREMENTS

Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some) uses an ensemble cast.

Cast Requirements: 3 or 4 actors (20s-50s)

Directors Note: I am looking for 3 or 4 actors, men or women or a combination thereof. I’m specifically looking for actors with a faculty for physical comedy and taking risks. Actors do need to sing one song in the play. You need not be a musical theater level singer, but must be willing to sing!

WHAT TO PREPARE FOR THESE AUDITIONS

Please prepare a contemporary comedic one-minute monologue. You may be asked to stay and read a brief scene from the script.

Copies of the full script are available at the Weathervane box office. To peruse the script, please stop in during regular Box Office hours only (Mondays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) The script may NOT be taken from the theater.

ABOUT THE SHOW

Instead of performing Charles Dickens’ beloved holiday classic for the umpteenth time, three actors decide to perform every Christmas story ever told -- plus Christmas traditions from around the world, seasonal icons from ancient times to topical pop-culture, and every carol ever sung. A madcap romp through the holiday season!
