announces auditions for:

Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka
Music and Lyrics by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley
Adapted for the stage by Leslie Bricusse and Timothy Allen McDonald
Based on the book "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" by Roald Dahl

Audition Dates
Monday, September 22, 2014 -
Children 7-15:  beginning at 6:00 pm
Adults & Teens 16 & up:  beginning at 7:30 pm
Tuesday, September 23, 2014
Children 7-15:  beginning at 6:30 pm
   Adults & Teens 16 & up:  beginning at 7:30 pm
Callbacks by invitation only - Sunday, September 28, 2014, 1:00 pm

Requirements
- Appointments will be taken beginning Tuesday, September 2, 2014
- Call Ann Hedger at 440-951-7500 x103 to make your appointment
- Prepare a one-minute MEMORIZED comedic monologue.
- Come prepared with a 16-32 bars of a standard Music Theatre song.   No pop or rock songs, please.
- Bring sheet music in the proper key.
- An accompanist will play for all auditioners.  Singing acapella is discouraged.
- Bring a detailed list of your conflicts beginning October 13.  This includes any school activities/events, sports activities/events and classes you may be taking that would cause you to miss a scheduled rehearsal.  All cast members must be available for tech week (November 23-26) and for all performances.
- Please bring a headshot (school picture or snap shot will do).
- Resumes will be accepted (not required)

Casting Information
ALL roles are available.
No AEA contracts available for this production.
- Needed:   Cast of approximately 25-30
- Age range is 7 years old-Adult.  (must be 7 years old by first rehearsal)

Rehearsals Start:  Tuesday, October 14, 2014
Rehearsals will GENERALLY be Mon-Thu 6:30-9:30 pm & Sundays 1-4 pm
Rehearsals during Tech Week will run longer.

Performance Dates: November 28-December 21, 2014 -
Fridays at 7:30 pm, Saturday and Sundays at 2:00 pm.
Two daytime performances on Thursdays, December 4 & 11, 2014.  Attendance required.
