Auditions for Rabbit Hole by David Lindsay-Abaire
Directed by Lisa Ortenzi
 
Audition Dates: 
Sunday, September 14, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. 
Monday September 15th, 2014 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Please plan on staying for the entire audition time period.

Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Production Dates: 
Thursday, November 20, 2014-Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 8:00 pm.

Brief Synopsis of Play:
Rabbit Hole is a heartbreaking play about a husband and wife, Becca and
Howie, who are working through their grief after losing their 4-year old
child Danny in a car accident.
 
List of Characters (all roles available, flexible with age):
Becca---Grieving mother, 30¹s-40¹s, seems practical but emotionally shut
down.
Howie---Grieving father, 30¹s-40¹s, still hurting by loss but trying to move
on.
Izzy---Sister of Becca, 30¹s, sort of a party girl, pregnant.
Nat---Becca and Izzy¹s mother, 50¹s-60¹s, strong woman, quirky, has
experienced loss herself.
Jason---High School student, 17, accidently hit Becca and Howie¹s son with
his car.

Rehearsal Dates:  
Rehearsals begin the week of October 5, 2014.  Rehearsals will be
Sunday-Friday, no Tuesdays except tech week. 
 
Where:
LCCC Studio Theater
 
How to Prepare for Auditions:
This will be a group audition and we will be reading from scripts.  Wear
comfortable clothes and familiarize yourself with the script.  Google Rabbit
Hole on Internet to see plot and character information.
