The Center for Applied Theatre and Active Culture and the
Wandering Aesthetics announce
Fall Classes for Students Ages 8 – 13

Children are constantly using their imaginations to create something out of nothing. Their world is one of theatricality and experimentation, discovering their world and– more importantly– themselves through PLAY.

Join local teacher, performer and Wandering Aesthetics Co-Artistic Director Kyle Jozsa as he leads a class on the art of theatre.

PLAYTIME IS SHOWTIME (Students ages 8 - 13)
Tuition: $75.00/student, $50/student for families with multiple enrollments
Saturdays, September 27 – November 22 from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM
When children see the world as a giant playground, incredible things happen.

Playtime is Showtime uses theatrical exercises to teach students how to channel their imaginations through PLAY and into PERFORMANCE. Students will work and play together, forming a genuine bond while becoming familiar with theatrical techniques.

The class is designed to help students delve deeper into the act of creation by becoming more comfortable with themselves. Students will study techniques to prepare and engage their bodies, voices and imagination for performance.

Playtime is Showtime is nine sessions long and culminates in a performance for friends and family during the final week. The class has a minimum enrollment of 3 students and a maximum enrollment of 16. The class is filled on a first-come, first served basis.

All classes will be held at the Balch Street Theatre located at 220 S. Balch Street • Akron, OH 44302. Please call 330.612.3090 or email watheatre at gmail.com for information or to enroll. Checks, cash or credit cards accepted.

****PAY-IT-FORWARD ENROLLMENT****

By enrolling your children, you can help others!

The Center for Applied Theatre and Active Culture and Wandering Aesthetics are proud to announce Pay-It-Forward enrollment.

For every student enrolled at full tuition, CATAC and WA will fund a full scholarship for students who cannot afford to attend the class.

Thank you for your support!
