Synopsis:

In a future state where all organized religion has been made illegal, An aged fugitive priest, Father Mac, attempts to hold on to the one thing that held his life together: the faith. A young couple and their daughter who have been hiding him for some time now think it may no longer be safe. One night, the family discovers that the people looking for the priest murdered a neighboring couple. The community that once supported him now argues over whether or not they should turn him over to those who want him dead. Father Mac must decide to turn himself in or flee to stay alive. 

Characters:

Father Mac (Male) (68-75)

An old weary man who was a priest before religion was made illegal. He still tries to preach and say mass within the small farm community. But, most importantly Father Mac will do anything to stay alive. 

Kendra (Female) (9-11)

A shy and fragile young girl who has become good friends with Father Mac.

Heather (Female) (38-45)

Kendra's Mother who might be just as shy as she is. A loving woman who wants nothing but to keep her family safe. 

Matthew (Male) (38-45)

Kendra's Father and friend of Father Mac. Matthew wants to help father Mac.

Rick (Male) (30-35)

A burly angry neighbor who has been skeptical of Father Mac ever since he started saying mass at Heather and Matthew's farm. He despises the old priest. 

Samuel (Male) (28-30)

Rick's quiet brother. He is the peacekeeper and tries to control Rick when he gets out of hand. 

Josh (Male) (30-35)

Rick's best friend. He seems to always be by Rick's side. 

Cassandra (Female) (30-35)

A neighbor widow who believes in Father Mac and will defend him no matter what the circumstances. 

Robert (Male) (60-65)

The town leader who wants to keep peace in the small farm community. 

Fierce leader of the raiders who want Father Mac dead. 

Kyle  (Male) (23-25)

A raider in Rebecca’s posse. He is the brother of another named Karl.

Karl (Male) (23-25)

Another raider and the brother of Karl.
