*TECHNICAL DIRECTOR/DESIGNER* – Department of Theatre and Dance, The
College of Wooster. One semester full-time, staff position beginning
January 2015 OR a 10-month, full time, staff position (with the possibility
of renewal), beginning August 2015. Position responsibilities include one
design assignment per semester; technical direction for two theatre and two
dance mainstage productions, as well as Senior thesis performances;
construction of all scenery and light hang for all productions; maintenance
of scene shop, theatre facilities and equipment; monitoring of inventory
and safety of all students; balancing production budget; instruction and
supervision of scene shop employees and lab students, supervision of
College events in Freedlander Theatre. Skills in supervising stage
management a major plus. MA/MFA in Technical Direction or Theatre
Technology and supervisory experience expected; BA/BFA with considerable
professional experience considered. Competitive salary, benefits and
