        'Loki & Lucy' Make
     a Compelling Couple at Talespinner Children's Theatre

Director Alison Garrigan brings the tall tale to vivid life, and also adds
the vibrant sets and puppet designs. Assistant director Charles Hargrave
and stage manager Tania Benites also help keep things running smoothly
during the hour-long show.


Each element of the technical design is creatively conceived and
constructed. Katelyn Cornelius guides the cast through some amazing
character moves, and Ben Gantose bathes the action in mystical
illumination. Most impressive is the costume and mask design by  Melanie
Boeman, who really makes viewers believe a tree can talk and a wolf can
walk.


The five-member troupe is superb, projecting the perfect combination of
sophistication and silliness. In addition to Melissa T. Crum and Brittany
Nicole Gaul, the cast includes Bryan Ritchey, Nate Miller, and Nick Chokan,
each of whom make an indelible impression during the course of the
evening...
