Over the River and through the Woods

Showing October 2-19, 2014

Thursday-Friday-Saturday nights, Sunday afternoons

Coach House Theatre will open its 2014-2015 season with Over the River and
through the Woods October 2-19, 2014.

This warm and loving comedy by Joe DiPietro tells the story of a young man,
Nick, who is both bullied and adored by his four loving Italian
grandparents. He visits them every Sunday night for dinner, and he loves
them like crazy (even though they drive him a little crazy). When Nick gets
a great job offer which would require him to move across the country, his
grandparents are determined to convince him to stay. They'll lay on the
guilt, they'll tempt him with food, they'll try to set him up with a
girlfriend . they'll do anything. What happens will make you laugh, but
bring the tissues too!

The production is directed by Coach House Artistic Director Nancy Cates. The
cast features Henry C. Bishop as Nunzio, Timothy Champion as Frank, Mary Lou
Ryan Ianni as Aida, Tara Kodosky as Caitlin, Scott Shriner as Nick, and
Karen L. Wood as Emma.
