REAL EDGE DANCE (AKA: RED COMPANY) will presents its Fourth Season Concert Series

 “NO BOUNDARIES” this weekendOctober 17th-19th 2014 at the Paul A. Daum Theater (Main Campus of UA) in Akron, Ohio. 


      Artistic Director Kelli Sanford has created two world premiere modern dance works on the program. “EXPLODING ATOMS” is an exciting work that draws inspiration from the concepts of physics that features quirky movements to capture the patterns of electrons and moleules. “TRAFFIC” is a fast paced, high energy modern-jazz work that draws upon inspiration from our fast paced everyday lives we encounter on the highway both figuratively and literally. 

        Returning on the program is the shocking and haunting work “INCUBUS DIVINE” that explores ‘demons’ that yearn to capture one’s soul, and the fun yet twisted work “TOY BOX” that will make one think twice about the inanimate personalities of dolls. Also on the program is invited guest artist Ana Lobe who will present a neo-classical ballet work “FLUX” with students from the ALBA (Ana Lobe Ballet Academy).
