Why would someone whose home is a palace long for the freedom of the
marketplace? Why would someone steal a loaf of bread and pretend to be
someone he is not? Why, with all the power of the universe would someone
feel trapped? Freedom is powerful, but power can limit freedom in
unexpected ways. Imprisoned by tradition, hunger and the law, it's a whole
new world as the story of Aladdin weaves back through the tales of 1001
Nights. Through the classic music of Alan Menken and Howard Ashman,
colorful puppets, exotic dance and pure...magic, join Scheherazade, Sinbad,
Ali Baba and your favorite characters from Aladdin as we hop a carpet and
fly to another Arabian night!
