Since 1981 two-time Grammy award winning artist Terrance Simien has been
shattering the myths about what his indigenous Zydeco roots music is -
and is not. Leading his Zydeco Experience band, Simien has become one of
the most respected and accomplished artists in American roots music. He
creates a hypnotic blend of New Orleans
funk-reggae-flavored-world-blues-soulful American zydeco roots music
that beckons you to your feet and into the groove. He and his band have
performed over 7000 concerts and have toured millions of miles to over
45 countries during their career. Terrance & his band performed their
original song "Dance Everyday" and their version of the zydeco standard
"Uncle Bud" in the 2012 feature film "The Lucky One." He was also a
guest musician on "Gonna Take You There," a zydeco flavored song penned
by Randy Newman, in the 2009 film "The Princess & The Frog." An 8th
generation Louisiana Creole, Simien's family is documented in history
books as one of the first Creole families to settle St. Landry Parish.

360 Allstars is a phenomenal theatrical performance exploring all forms
of rotation. Boasting a stellar cast, including world champion athletes,
world class dancers and world renowned musicians, the production
connects the street with the elite to deliver a radical urban circus.
360 Allstars reinvents the traditional circus by presenting contemporary
performance styles instead of conventional circus art forms. Replace
acrobats with break-dancers, substitute a basketball freestyler in place
of a juggler, swap the unicyclist for a BMX flatlander, and throw in a
Roue Cyr artist and you get an exhilarating circus performance, like
nothing you have seen before!

Showcasing some of Australia's best performers, alongside celebrated
international artists from the UK, Europe and the United States, 360
Allstars is a revolutionary production that will leave you dizzy with
excitement. This project has been assisted by the Australian Government
through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body.
