[NEohioPAL] AUDITIONS for SHORT FILMS

Cuyahoga Community College's film and video students are working on several
short projects this semester and need local talent. This is an "Intro to
Filmmaking" class taught by Prof. Bruno Tatalovic. Some of these talented
beginner-filmmakers will become tomorrow's producers and directors (4-5 of
my former students who started in this class couple of years ago - are
already known in Cleveland film biz for their great work)… If you are a
local actor who wants to get more footage for your first demo-reel, this
would be perfect opportunity for you. Each of these projects features 1-2
actors only and gives you a lot of screen time and dialogue or monologue
lines. These are unpaid (volunteer / collaborate) productions.

When (pick one day):
Day 1: Thu, 23 Oct, from 9:15am to 11:15am (2 hrs)
Day 2: Fri, 24 Oct, from 9:15am to 1:15pm (4 hrs)

Where: Tri-C Campus in Parma (park in "visitor"; walk to
middle-building/galleria; look for room G107, next to campus police);

If you really want to become an actor - join local indie film artists and
students now, and create content! Don't just wait for big Hollywood films
to come to town, so you can be an invisible extra. ACT in local student
projects! Also, if you have NO screen acting experience, but you truly
BELIEVE that you have what it takes - COME and try out!

The projects are 1 day (half a day) productions, sometimes in November
(based on actors' availability). This is walk-in audition (cold read or
short personal monologue - if desired). Bring:
- headshot or picture;
- acting resume;
- other/optional (business card);

Feel free to invite your actor friends. Join us!

Note: SAG-AFTRA members are welcome, but they must prepare and coordinate
union paperwork themselves. The beginner level students are not fully
prepared (at this level) to handle professional level producing duties,
such as union contracts.

SAMPLE PROJECTS

3-2-1 Short Film Projects are beginner level film productions featuring: 3
pages of scripted narrative, 2 actors, and shot on 1 location only.

TV commercial ads are 30 second "talking head" videos, featuring 1 or more
