Last weekend, For Saturday and Sunday performances of The Crucible, a strange thing happened: The audiences were struck speechless at the end. Show ends, blackout, cast places for curtain call-- lights up! And silence. Stunned silence. And many patting their hearts on the way out. "Oh, my..."

The Crucible continues at the Little Teatre of Tuscarawas County Saturday night, 8:00 pm, and Sunday matinee (FINAL PERFORMANCE) 2:30. For these seats, call the LT at 330.343.4012. Or reserve seats at the website, http://www.thelittletheatreonline.org/now_showing.htm <http://www.thelittletheatreonline.org/now_showing.htm>.
Today, the entire set, costumes, etc. are being moved to the PAC for tomorrow's show, then returned immediately afterward (meaning work into the wee hours). A tremendous amount of work and innovation has gone into this show with professional set and lighting design. And the show itself is some of the best material in American literature. The arts community in the area has come together as I have not seen in all my stage career. I think we have done it justice. Don't miss this show, the final week!
