[NEohioPAL] Raymond Bobgan Seeking Actor/Creators for Two Projects

CPT Executive Artistic Director Raymond Bobgan is seeking performer/creators for two big projects.


1.       Fire on the Water starts rehearsals Dec 29 and performs Jan 29- Feb 14 http://cptonline.org/theater-show.php?id=242. Actors will work with Raymond in the creation of 1-3 scenes and participate in group scene creation with Fire on the Water ensemble. Rehearsals are on weekends and on week-night evenings, typically 630-1030p. All participating actor-creators will receive a stipend.


2.       In the spring Raymond will begin work on his next major creation slated for the 15-16 season. Workshop rehearsals will begin in March and may go through June. Because this is an extended work-period, some conflicts will be permissible, though consistency and long-form process are critical to this creation workshop. Rehearsals are on weekends and on week-night evenings, typically 6:30-10:30p. 4-5 rehearsals a week for most of the process. All participating actor-creators will receive a modest stipend.

Performer-creators of all types will be considered. The selection process begins with a simple application. Selected actors will be invited to attend a 3-4 hour selection session.

In the body of the email please answer the following questions briefly (500-700 words in total): 1) what is your experience in physical theatre, singing, and ensemble creation? 2) Why are you interested in this project /process? 3) what performance/creation weakness you are you most interested in working on through this process? 4) LIST ALL POTENTIAL CONFLICTS WITH THE PROJECTS.

This is an open process and people who are curious but not yet ready to commit should feel free to apply.
