Three Men on a Horse

Fast-paced and laugh-filled, Three Men on a Horse is the perfect theatrical
treat for this holiday season. The show will play at Akron's Coach House
Theatre, November 20 to December 21, 2014.

A classic comedy by John Cecil Holm and George Abbot, Three Men on a Horse
is about Erwin Trowbridge (GEOFF KNOX, in his Coach House debut), a meek man
who writes greeting card verses, and "dopes out" the winners at the race
track as a hobby. When he encounters a bunch of down-on-their-luck gamblers
(JOE PINE, DERRICK WINGER, JEREMY JENKINS) in a bar, and they discover his
enormous talent at his hobby, they try to win him away from his dull life
and use his skills to make them all rich. But the catch is, Erwin's talent
only works if he never places a bet himself!

The cast also features TESS BURGLER, AMANDA DAVIS, SCOTT SHRINER, TIMOTHY
CHAMPION, MARK STOFFER, DEBBIE JENKINS and SHANE M. STAHL. 

** A special guest star, playing the crucial supporting role of Erwin's boss
Mr. J.G. Carver, is veteran stage and screen actor DAREN KELLY, who has
appeared in several Broadway hits and national touring productions. Mr.
Kelly has been familiar to Coach House audiences in recent years from his
leading roles in I Hate Hamlet and Present Laughter.

The production is directed by Coach House Artistic Director NANCY CATES. 

Three Men on a Horse will be presented November 20-December 21. Curtain
times are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. with Sunday matinees at
2:30 p.m. There will be no performances Thanksgiving weekend (Thursday,
November 27 to Sunday, November 30).

Dinner or brunch is available to all theatre patrons prior to every
performance, at the Akron Woman's City Club next door. 

There will be a special $12 preview performance Thursday, November 20 only,
at 8 p.m. The official opening night is Friday, November 21. Group rates for
holiday gatherings or office celebrations are available.

Coach House's 93-seat theater sells out quickly, so reserve your seats now!
