Diary of the Dumped is the story of a woman who receives a break up text from her boyfriend.That woman was the author Shocked, hurt, bewildered, it would have been easy to live out the cliche,“It‘s not you, it’s me.” Instead, she kept a diary for next 30 days, excavating her entire buried personal life, uncovering the true source of her ongoing dating disappointments. She confronted her past, overcame her heartbreak and moved into a happy future. Sometimes it really is us and not them.


As a twenty-year veteran of Corporate America, Alex  brings a unique perspective to the dating world, concluding each chapter with a humorous look at relationships from the volatility of the business world. This helps  her weather the highs and lows of the relationship market.
