Fairport Harbor Schools Theatre Announces The Miracle Worker

(Fairport Harbor, OH) The Fairport Harbor Schools Theatre Department has announced it will be performing the beloved play, The Miracle Worker, with starring roles featuring children from Fairport Schools: Harding Middle and High Schools.

The Director, Kyle J. Lorek, is honored and thrilled to be able to present this deep and inspiring show to the community. He could not be more astonished by the amazing talent and charisma that the members of the cast show during their performances. Lorek explains, “This show is not an easy show by any means. It can take a toll on the soul, but I am so proud of the students of Fairport. They took the challenge to do a drama and use this experience not for simply fun and games, but to further education in the performing arts. I look forward to patrons witnessing this performance.”

Lorek would also like to add that the constant support from the Drama Club Boosters has been a large help in the development of the show. With many of the budget cuts being made by schools nowadays, the Drama Club Boosters stepped up by advertising, creating a budget, fundraising, and aiding in many different ways to benefit the show. The parents of this cast and crew have been extremely supportive and caring. They are dedicated to putting on a fantastic show and their commitment and enthusiasm is apparent through their children’s work as well.

The Miracle Worker will open Friday, November 21st, Saturday, November 22nd, and Sunday, November 23rd at 7:30 p.m. in the Branthoover Auditorium at Fairport Harding High School.
