*SEASONAL YOUTH THEATER MUSICAL DIRECTOR*



Solon Center for the Arts is accepting applications for a Seasonal Youth
Theater Musical Director to work on a youth theater musical production in
the winter of 2015.



Qualified applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Music or
Music Education from an accredited institution or be in their last year of
obtaining such a degree.  Interested applicants must have experience
teaching and/or working as a Youth Musical Theater or Choir Director in the
past five years.  This position will run January through April 2015 and
involves regular hours on Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings as well as
evening and weekend hours for Tech week and performances.  The flat rate
for this project is based upon experience and will range from $750 to
$1,000.



Candidates for this position will work closely with the Theater Department
Coordinator and must be able to work with students of all ages and skill
levels.  Applicants must be professional and display leadership qualities
in and out of the classroom.  In addition, the applicant should possess
excellent problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Applicants must be able to work in a team environment.
