AUDITION NOTICE
One Slight Hitch

Auditions: Tues., Dec 9 & Wed., Dec 10 at 7:30pm
THE STORY:
Life in suburban Cincinnati circa 1981 is good for Doc and Delia Coleman 
on the morning they plan to throw their eldest daughter the lavish wedding 
they never had—until her ex shows up and begins to wreak mad havoc 
on all of their plans.  A smart, modern farce from comedian Lewis Black, 
One Slight Hitch is a riotous and strangely romantic ride through the 
deconstruction of one family's equilibrium. 
Characters - 4 women and 3 men.
DOC COLEMAN - the father. A general practioner. A charming,
eccentric conservative. Usually straight up.
HARPER - Early thirties. Logical and wealthy. Engaged to Courtney.
RYAN - Early thirties. Until seven months ago, he had lived with
Courtney for two and half years.
DELIA COLEMAN - the mother. In a constant state of panic.
P.B. - Sixteen-year-old daughter. Loosest in family.

MELANIE - Twenty-something daughter. Nurse. Attractive and psychotic.

COURTNEY - Freelance writer. Has just published her first novel which 
was almost successful.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Auditions will be held at Clague Playhouse, 1371 Clague Road, Westlake.

Production Dates: March 6 through March 29, 2015 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm and Sundays at 2pm.
Please bring an audition photo and résumé.  Actors will be asked to do cold readings from the script.  A perusal script is available at the Clague Playhouse Box Office for a $10 deposit. Box Office hours are Wednesday - Saturday from 1-6pm.
