[NEohioPAL] ABOB to hold "Drinking Habits" auditions

Arlene’s Broadway on Buffalo (ABOB), 236 Buffalo Street, Conneaut, OH will hold auditions for “Drinking Habits” Sunday, Dec. 14 from 3-6 p.m. and Monday, Dec. 15 from 6-9 p.m.

“Drinking Habits" is the hilarious story of a group of seamstress nuns (the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing) in a failing convent. In a bid to keep money flowing to the convent, two of the nuns secretly begin making wine from grapes in the convent's vineyard and selling the wine in town. Their ventures are so successful, their (anonymous) wine wins a national prize, prompting an investigative reporter and her friend to come to town to try to find the source of the award-winning vintage. The plot involves a host of mistaken identities, cross dressing, magic and a lot of physical humor. The cast includes five women and three men of various ages. You don’t need a monologue to audition, as readings will be from the script. Show dates are March 13-15, 20 and 21. Nothing has been precast; all parts are available. Director is Clay Nielsen.
