Before it was an Academy Award-winning film, Driving Miss Daisy was a Pulitzer Prize-winning play. Written by Alfred Uhry, it tells the story of the unique relationship between an elderly, white woman and her black chauffeur. Set in Atlanta during the 50s and 60s, the play takes audiences on a journey of prejudice and racism, but ultimately understanding as these two different people come to know and respect each other for who they are.
