 to Offer Audiences
   a Work of Heart

Clague Playhouse's presentation of Joanna McClelland Glass' drama *Trying* is
the epitome of what live theatre is all about -- intense confrontations
between intriguing characters in intimate confines.

This highly acclaimed play follows the story of a young, self-confident
woman from Canada and an aging, stuck-in-his-ways retired judge from
Philadelphia who are "trying" to work together in the very close quarters

Debbie Jenkins is absolutely lovely as the freshly hired assistant to the

she tells the Judge that Canadians always "lace the skates and hit the
ice" no matter what is before them...
