Hello NeOhioPal,

The Great Lakes Light Opera only has 5 days left to reach our goal of $550.
This money will cover the costs to file all the necessary paperwork to
achieve 501(c)3 status here in Ohio.

Let me tell you a little about the Great Lakes Light Opera (GLLO). GLLO is
a company founded to bring opera to those who may otherwise never
experience the art form through nontraditional methods. Based in Cleveland
Heights, OH, we perform anywhere we're allowed, including bars, malls,
street corners, festivals, etc. Our programming spans everything from
traditional productions to portable concerts to adult lecture series, and
we want to be able to expand our offerings. You can learn more about GLLO
by visiting our website at www.greatlakeslightopera.com.

Right now, GLLO is running solely by volunteers, which is not a sustainable
business model. In order to continue providing quality musical and
educational programming, GLLO needs to achieve nonprofit status, which will
allow us to file for grants--grants that would then be used to purchase the
necessary costumes and props for productions, rent space, pay directors and
singers, and so on (money makes the world go around). Unfortunately, filing
the paperwork is costly, so for a company working with a $0 budget, it's
pretty impossible.

This is where you come in--if you could give even $1 toward our campaign,
it'd get us closer to our goal (and be honest--would you even notice that
$1?). We only have until February 1st to raise the $550. As an
all-or-nothing campaign, we won't receive funding unless we hit our goal.

Thank you very much for your assistance!
