In honor of Black History Month, join Cuyahoga Valley National Park Ranger Pamela Machuga and costumed actors as they explore a time of social upheaval in America when people were forced to make life and death decisions.
Northeast Ohio has a rich and complex history in the abolitionist movement that led to Civil War and and end to the institution of slavery in the U.S. In this FREE program, suitable for all audiences, you'll meet many characters who represent the different points of view regarding assisting runaway slaves in their journey towards freedom
The program is offered twice this week at the following locations:
