[NEohioPAL] Youth Theatre Classes Starting this Week in Wayne County!

Wayne Center for the Arts in Wooster is launching brand-new Theatre
programming this week!  Register now!!

10-week classes:
*Acting Technique:*(12 & up) SPACE STILL AVAILABLE Students will tackle the
foundational skills of contemporary acting technique, learn to improvise
and explore the imaginative potential of the body and voice. Culminates in
a showing of scenes, monologues and other work as a part of a student
showcase.  Instructor: Elana Kepner, Theatre Program Coordinator
Wednesdays 4:00-5:30  February 4- April 15, No class April 1st, Showcase
April 25th, 7:00 pm

Musical Theater: (12 & up) SPACE STILL AVAILABLE Students will build
confidence while exploring classical and contemporary musicals, staging and
working on singing technique. Culminates in a showing of musical numbers as
a part of a student showcase. Instructors: Chelsea Northey, Theatre Faculty
& Anna Weiss, Theatre Instructor Saturdays 9:45-11:15  February 7-April 18,
No class April 4th, Showcase April 25th, 7:00 pm

Creative Drama: (8-12) SPACE IS LIMITED!! Through creative play, theater
games and storytelling, students will use their imaginations, voices and
bodies to explore basic theater skills. Culminates in a showing of a short,
student-created piece as a part of a student showcase.  Instructor: Chelsea
Northey, Theatre Faculty  Saturdays 11:15-12:15   February 7-April 18, No
class April 4th, Showcase April 25th, 7:00 pm
