Due to the extreme weather conditions experienced across Northeast Ohio this past weekend, None Too Fragile will be delaying opening weekend of Martin McDonagh’s THE LONESOME WEST by one week. The theater had been scheduled to coordinate pickup and installation of some major set elements this past weekend, but the snow put the stops on that.

Patrons who previously purchased a seat for one of the shows scheduled between February 6th and February 9th can either request a refund or apply their purchase toward a different show. Please contact the theater at production at nonetoofragile.com or 330-671-4563.

Revised dates and times for THE LONESOME WEST, along with other shows in the 2015 season are presented below.

THE STORY: Valene and Coleman, two brothers living alone in their father's house after his recent death, find it impossible to exist without the most massive and violent disputes over the most mundane and innocent of topics. Only Father Welsh, the local young priest, is prepared to try to reconcile the two before their petty squabblings spiral into vicious and bloody carnage.

"Mr. McDonagh's great strength is that he combines a love of traditional story-telling with the savage ironic humour of the modern generation…in the extraordinary THE LONESOME WEST, two brothers, one of whom has killed their father, are closeted together in undying hostility like a penned-up Cain and Abel." —The Guardian (UK). "THE LONESOME WEST…represents a leap forward in ambition and achievement for McDonagh…[it] offers…in-depth examination of character and is, in the end, a moving and complicated examination of redemption that might even offer a glimmer—a wee distant glimmer—of hope." —Variety.

The None Too Fragile Theater is a professional theater operating in Akron's Merriman Valley, right next to Pub Bricco.

None Too Fragile came into existence with the hope to aid in filling a local, adventurously-bold theatrical voice. With a mindful concentration on modern and relevant productions, None Too Fragile aims to create an invigorated atmosphere for spirited dialogue between our audiences and some of Ohio's premiere Performing Artists through thought-provoking, heart-touching, and, at times, principle-challenging, character-driven storytelling.
