Oberlin Summer Theater Festival is seeking interns for 2015 Season. Must be current or recent college student, 18 years old, with prior experience in area of internship.
ASSISTANT TO TD. Responsibilities: construction, run and strike; 2 years tech experience desired, esp. scenery. 12-week commitment, May 26th-Aug. 14th. $1800-$2500 stipend, based upon experience
MASTER ELECTRICIAN. Responsibilities: execution of rep plot from hang to focus, programming Ion Console, board op, and maintenance. 2 years lighting experience desired. 12-weeks, May 26th-Aug. 14th. $1800-$2500 stipend, based upon experience
3 GENERAL PRODUCTION: Responsibilities: carpentry, electrics, painting, and running crew. Advanced skills in one of these areas desired. 11-weeks, May 26th-Aug. 9. $1800 stipend
PROPERTIES MASTER: Responsibilities: procuring or building props; maintenance throughout repertory run. Drivers license required. $1800 stipend
2 COSTUMING/WARDROBE ASSISTANTS: Responsibilities: assisting in costume construction and alterations. Wardrobe and crew throughout repertory run. $1800 stipend
STAGE MANAGEMENT: Responsibilities: running rehearsals and performances. $1800 stipend
All interns get single, studio apartments, close to theater. Applications due by March 15th, but accepted until positions are filled.
