Thurgood **Marshall and the Supreme Court **forever changed the United
States. *

*The Disappointed* by Barbara Harkness
*A desperate man finds he can renew a **friendship with his former
partner. *

*Fightin' Back *by Cynthia Dettelbach

*At a press party, a young African American woman in her cups wanders*
*into a white publishers sitting room with unexpected results. *

*High Yellow *by Agnes Herrmann
*Two African American musicians give hope to a woman **who is pregnant by
their dead musician sideman. *

*Solana on 'S' Street *by Rannigan Walsh
*One of the first African American poet/playwrights who cannot get her
plays on lynching published. *

*Just Call her 'Mama' *by Cynthia Dettelbach
*A  woman in an unrecognizable costume  appears at the Supreme Court  with
a strange request. *

*All the plays have been written by members of **Ensemble's StageWright's
Workshops over the past year.  *
*They are **read by Ensemble actors. *
