Who: The Western Reserve Junior Service League
What: The Bi-Annual Charity Event "The Red Stocking Revue" (their largest
fund-raiser)
When: Two shows at Harvey High School on May 1 and May 2 7:30 PM Start time
Why: This organization is a tri-county group that supports individuals and
organizations through grants and funding. Benefactors are those in need in Lake,
Ashtabula and Geauga counties. They have a web site. Search their name and you
will find it.
This year's theme is "The Gong Show"
They will be seeking comic impersonators for: Chuck Barris, Johnny Jacobs, Arte
Johnson, Jaye P. Morgan, Phyllis Diller
They will be seeking singers, dancers and comic actors for variety acts.
There is also room for instrumentalists, magicians, or other unique performers.
They will be seeking 8 females to create a French Can-Can line.
They will be seeking a group of children ages 5 to 17 for two specialty numbers.
How: Meet & Greet night is Monday, March 30 at Hellreigal's restaurant located
on Route 20 in Painesville. This event starts at 6:30 PM
On this night, the production team will be introduced and interested parties can
sign up to participate in several large group
options that require NO audition. People will also be able to sign up for
specific acts they wish to audition for. Any and all questions will be answered
on this night and a full rehearsal schedule will be available for perusal.
Auditions will take place at Harvey High School, located on West Walnut in
Painesville on Tuesday, March 31 and Wednesday, April 1.

All casting options will be posted at Meet & Greet and will include rehearsal
schedule for each act.
This group will rehearse Monday thru Friday from April 6 thru April 30. There
will be one tech Sunday on April 26, otherwise only weeknights.
During the first three weeks of rehearsal folks will only practice on the nights
they commit to for the numbers they choose to participate in.
The fourth week will be Tech week, so everyone will be asked to participate that
entire week.
Bonus Feature! Each week night, the Western Reserve ladies prepare a dinner so
folks coming from work can rest and refuel before rehearsal.
Dinner is served every rehearsal night from 5:30 to 6:30 PM.
Everyone participating will be asked to purchase a T-shirt. This shirt will be
used as part of costuming and will make a great memento after the event. This is
a charity event, so T-shirt sales do help their bottom line.
