[NEohioPAL] Casting Call: The Bus Stop

This is a casting call for the upcoming short film "The Bus Stop" Directed by Alex Ptak and Produced by Tyler Barker. 


The auditions will be held in room 402 in the Michael Shwartz Library from 4:00-6:30 on Thursday March 12th. If you have any questions or would like to confirm you are coming to the audition email me at kracken at embarqmail.com . We shoot the weekend of march 13th. Makeup artist also wanted. 


Listed below is the synopsis of the film as well as the character descriptions. 





Synopsis 


This story gives a brief glimpse into an afternoon in the life of patients in a memory care facility. It shows that patients have issues with the way they perceive the world around them. This particular afternoon, the caregivers are unable to redirect Grace & Jimmy from the notion that they need to catch a bus. The patient Carol is in a similar dilemma in that she is unable to locate her car. The caregivers show that by being kind and vague, they are able to comfort the often-confused people under their care. 



Jimmy – A patient at an Alzheimer facility who doesn’t realize he has grown old. 
Jimmy appears to be in his 20’s as this is how he see’s him self and others in the facility. 


Grace - A patient at an Alzheimer facility who doesn’t realize she has grown old. 
Grace appears to be in her 20’s as this is how she see’s her self and others in the facility. 


Brittany – Caregiver at an Alzheimer’s care facility. She is actually in her 20’s. 


Fred - Caregiver at an Alzheimer’s care facility. He is in his mid to late 20’s. 


Carol - A patient at an Alzheimer facility who doesn’t realize she has grown old. 
Carol appears to be in her 20’s as this is how she see’s her self and others in the facility.
