About Bill Cobbs. . .Mr. Cobbs is a Clevelandnative and Karamu alum. A veteran of numerous stage work in Cleveland and New YorkCity.  Hisfirst  professional acting role wasin "Ride a Black Horse" at the Negro Ensemble Company.  From there, he appeared in small theaterproductions, street theater, regional theater and at the Eugene O'NeillTheater.  He was awarded the Joe Jefferson award in 1988 for 'Driving Miss Daisy" in Chicago. Hisfirst television show was 'Vegetable Soup and feature film was "The Takenof Pellham One Two Three. He has since appeared in numerous television andfilms such as "The Bodyguard", "The Ultimate Gift","Night at the Museum," "Get Low." And The Great andPowerful Oz".
