[NEohioPAL] AUDITIONS: Short Film "Up & Running”

East Indie Films is currently seeking actors/actresses for paid roles in a short film “Up & Running”, written by Philip Hirzel. 

Genre: Action/Sci-Fi
Plot Summary: A short film inspired by “A Most Dangerous Game”. When Evan wakes up in a woods, he is bound and remembers nothing. All he knows is he must survive the soldier’s hunting him.

The shoot is slated for June 2015. 

Characters:

Evan - (late 20s, early 30s MALE) A fit and stoic young man. He doesn’t remember anything about his past, other than when he woke, tied up in a field. He has instinctual survival skills and thinks logically and works efficiently. He has a fascinated and open mind about his surroundings.

Fletcher - (early 30s MALE) A frenetic captive who finds himself tied up in the woods. He quickly teams up with Evan and acts as a right hand man. He is trusting and would rather follow orders than give them. However, he may not be all he says he is. 

Soldier 1 - (late 20s-early 40s MALE/FEMALE) Armed in tactical garb with a laser-rifle. Hunts the two captives through the woods. 

Soldier 2 - (late 20s - early 40s MALE) Another armed soldier in tactical garb with laser-rifle. Hunts the two captives through the woods. Follows orders from Soldier 1.  

Scientist 1 - (50s MALE/FEMALE) A calm and collected genius. Either doesn’t show, or entirely lacks, compassion, but makes up in the great care for his/her work. 

Scientist 2 - (30s MALE/FEMALE) The Scientist’s assistant. Down to earth and balanced, he/she gathers data from tests, and acts as a liaison between the Scientist and the public.
