Foluké Cultural Arts Presents. . . .“The True Storyof the Three Little Pigs”
as told by the Big Bad Wolf CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Have you ever wondered about the Wolf's version of storyof the Three Little Pigs? Well on Saturday April 18th at 4PM at Tri-CMetropolitan Campus, Main Stage Theatre 2900 Community College Ave. (Woodlandentrance), Cleveland, OH  44115, FolukéCultural Arts is telling the Wolf's side of the story.
The True Story of the ThreeLittle Pigs is a childrens’ story presented with an urban twist, that is FUNfor the entire family. It’s a play, a musical, and dance performance. The Castis a mix of Foluké Students, Foluké Instructors, Foluké-JATA (our dance companyfrom Detroit), and Students from the Greater Cleveland Area (who joined usthrough open auditions). It will be a great time for the entire family!  Advance tickets: $12 Adults, $7 Seniors and Students,At the Door: $15 Adults, $10 Seniors and Students.  Groups of 10 or more are $10 each.  Ticketsmay be purchased online at www.folukeculturalarts.org, or by calling 216-432-3772 Based on the book written byJon Scieszka, The True Story of The Three Little Pigs is directed by Ms. AngelaWinborn, and Choreography is by Mr. Kevin Marr, II. Foluké Cultural Arts Center, Centrals ONLY arts center,  is committed to making performing arts andarts education available to all, particularly those who live in “underserved”areas.  The programming of Foluké isfamily oriented with focus on at-risk children and youth.  The goal is to provide positive alternativesto negative behaviors by instilling discipline, self-pride and boostingself-confidence through self-expression and self-discovery.  Foluké Cultural Arts offers instruction andexposure to the performing and visual arts, and arts education for all ages,regardless of race, religious affiliation or economic background.  The vision of Foluké Cultural Arts is toprovide arts services to the greater Cleveland area with a special commitmentto the Central ‘Promise’ Neighborhood, with a goal to utilize the arts to serveas a catalyst for academic achievement, socio-economic development andcommunity pride.  Programs implemented include instruction in: Ballet, Modern Dance andHip Hop; Musical and Dramatic Theatre; Creative Writing;  Drumming and various genres of Visual Arts(Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, etc) within the Central Community and at ourfacility on Carnegie Avenue.   Foluké Cultural Arts Center is under the direction of Ms. Dava Cansler.*****
